So, after a bit of grinding for Lightning and Caliente (whom I boxed Gluttony for), as well as evolving Hotblazer, I headed for the Fortree Gym. As said before, there was something invisible blocking the way to the gym, which was obviously a Kecleon. Since there's no other way to catch Pokemon in the city, I figured that once it attacked me, I could catch it and add it to my team. So, after outing it, I prepared myself to battle the thing.
But then it ran away instead.

Well, with it gone, I took on the gym. It turned out to be not as hard as I thought it'd be; yeah, I was using an Electric-type but I expected their levels to be higher.
Then Winona came around. Her Swellow, Pelipper, and Skarmory fell to Lightning, while Phobos handled her Altaria. The Fortree badge was mine, and now I can use Fly. Good stuff.
With that taken care of, I headed for Route 120 and explored the place, battling the trainers and taking all the items I could. There was one trainer who had a Milotic in the rainy portion of the route, which was very annoying to take down and did quite a bit of damage against Rena with Water Pulse. It was a battle of patience and healing items (even the trainer used a Full Restore when I was about to KO it). Eventually, I beat it, thank goodness.
Soon, I made it to Route 121, and a new opportunity to catch a Pokemon, which came in the form of... Gloom. Now, I was bummed, because I already had an Oddish that I could just evolve. So I KO'd it instead. Then I remembered that Gloom has two evolutions, and I could have caught it and evolved both into Vileplume and Bellossom. Dammit.
I also saw a few Magma grunts run of towards Mt. Pyre. I wonder what those goons are up to.
I got into a Double Battle with two girls who used Spinda and (wait for it) Slaking. Despite being at level 32, I knew that Slaking would be a problem, so I had to KO it at all costs. The Spinda using Teeter Dance didn't help things, either. To top it off, the Slaking knew Focus Punch. ...Thankfully, I managed to beat those girls without suffering any casualties.
The Safari Zone... Is it a good idea to play a Safari game during Nuzlocke? ...Eh. Couldn't hurt to try. I paid the entry fee and was given access. I stepped into the first grass I saw, and encountered...
Another Gloom. ...Dammit, I really should have caught the one I saw earlier. ...Well, I caught this one, but forgot to nickname it. I gave the Safari Balls back to the guy, and left the place.
I also found a Duskull here on the Route, which rather ticked me off; I could have caught one if it had appeared earlier. Sandra also evolved on this route, into a nice Vibrava.
Soon, I reached Lilycove. After healing everyone, I went to the department store, where May was standing there, right in front of the doors. Isn't that rude to the customers? As expected, she challenged me to a battle.
What a lousy trainer she is... and she was worried about my Pokemon? Hers aren't even fully evolved. Except for her Swellow, which was the only one who gave me trouble due to it spamming Double Team. But once Lightning hit it with Spark, it went down.
After beating her, May said that she was going back to Littleroot, and flew off.
I bought and sold a few items, and headed back to the Pokemon Center to call it a day.
Current Team:
Hotblazer, Level 36
Phobos, Level 35
Rena, Level 34
Lightning, Level 34
Sandra, Level 35
Caliente, Level 34Deceased:
Ziggy, Level 21
Nigel, Level 28Caliente tried to evolve a few times, but I stopped her; I want her to learn Earthquake earlier and Flamethrower, the latter of which she doesn't learn via level up as a Camerupt, and I don't want to break my back trying to get the TM at the Mauville Game Corner. Though the trade-off is not learning Rock Slide until I can see the Move Relearner with a Heart Scale later on.
