Curtains Up

Yesterday, I posted about the silhouette that was revealed on Pokemon Sunday, and that we'd have to wait until Feb. 21st at the latest to see what it is.

We didn't even have to wait a week.

The newest CoroCoro magazine has been leaked, and with them came the new Pokemon, along with its preevolution.

According to Serebii.net, their names are Zorua and Zoroark. They are Dark-type Pokemon, and are classified as the Evil Fox and Monster Fox Pokemon respectively.

Well, Zoroark looks pretty cool, I must say. I wonder how good it can fight/what moves it can learn. Since it's playing a key role in the 13th movie, I'm sure that it may be pretty good at battling at a high level.

Speaking of the 13th movie, it's title has been updated: It is now called Phantom Champion Zoroark, after the new Pokemon. So I guess that "Z" character wasn't the name of that Ash doppelganger after all...

Nonetheless, this is great news, and of course I'll be following all of the developments made in this undertaking until the first games of Pokemon Generation 5 are finally released.
